I'm arriving for a look see next week to check out schools and houses and am a little concerened about the reports of flooding.

Is travelleing down to Pattaya from the airport going to be an issue...the reports are saying the floods are hitting Bangkok?

Wear plastic flip-flops and keep the wellies for the sheep

We have been getting some rain here and some flooding but it clears away quickly. Wear those cheap plastic and rubber flip-flops and wash them and your feet after walking through the sewerage water.

So not really a problem.

I'm still a little concerned, it is difficult to get reliable reports on which areas are affected. Am still a little unsure if I need to postpone my trip or not. I just need to be reassured that getting from the aiport to Pattaya is still safe and

do-able.
