I haven't been to the new office (I don't know what is it called) for quite some time, and I vaguely remember that it's near IMPACT Muangthong Thani.

Now for Tourist Visa, is the fee for 30-day extension still at 1800 baht ?

Does anyone know how to commute to the new office from Thonglor in Central Bangkok ?

Thank you in advance.

As said the fee has always been 1,900 baht for any extension of stay. If on budget some take train to Laksi and moto from there (but train schedules are in flux now with flooding upcountry). Other option is transport to Morchit bus station and bus/van/taxi from there. But from central Bangkok taxi should not be more than a couple hundred baht. It is located at end of Soi 7 Chiang Watanna Road (on right side) and turn from Chiang Watanna is at west end of CAT compound/building.

So I suppose unlike embassy I can opt to go either in the morning or afternoon ?

btw, how to pronounce the name of the place in Thai ?

"Pbai dtaw maw thee Chaeng Wattana". (ส.ต.ม. official name = Saw dtaw maw)

Every taxi driver should know "dtaw maw" but mention Chaeng Wattana, as Suan Phlu still has offices.

If you go from Mochit, the minivans have the word Immigration in English on them, also the bus 52 has the word on them too.

I would like to give it a try, this time with minivans.

I remember the office is located deep inside a side, almost at the end while CAT is outside. So where does the minivan stop ?

Likewise, are the minivans located at Mochit Bus Terminal or Mochit BTS ?

BTS on the chatuchak market side. Stops outside the soi, then you can walk, but am sure there is a free shuttle service.

Most people would not appreciate the walk I suspect. There is bus service from mouth of soi and believe they stop at main entry (which is east side of building) so you would enter and then turn left in open area to South entry area for immigration office.
