wana
I've met Thai nationality English teachers here who would struggle to order a coffee in English, far less teach the language. The progency of the rich and well connected don't attend these schools. So there's no problem. In the absence of any meaningful public pressure to change this, nothing will change. I only know one teacher out of 7 schools, who can hold a conversation in English. the amazing thing about that is ..........all of their students are going to pass every single one of them will be counted ,and the next time someone says "but thailand is behind cambodia and other less developed countries when it comes to students english lessons ,thailand can say with a big face : THATS UTTER NONSENSE,WE HAVE 200,000 STUDENTS PASSED ENGLISH EXAMS LAST YEAR !!!!
