I am now on 30-day exempt visa. The date on my passport is until 16 Oct 2011.

If I arrived in Mukdahan on 17th Oct morning, and continue to Savannakhet, wil I be considered as Overstayed?

Your advises would be greatly appreciated.

The 16th is the day you have to leave the country, so yes you will be on overstay and have to pay 500 baht.

yes, on the 17th October you will be overstay for 1 day, as you leave via landborder you will pay THB500.- fine.

Leaving via airport would give you 1 day graceperiod.
