Freeman64 Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Hi All. My cousin asked me if I can pass this message on. I do not like to see animals suffer so I have posted here in the attempt someone can help. URGENT!... Home Needed for Little Lottie! We have received this information from a person desperately trying to save Lottie. She's chained up in the streets of Bangkok & only surviving because of this kind person. Please PM if you can give Lottie a good home. I'm looking for a home for this little dog (see attached pix), her name is 'Lottie'. She is quite young (maybe six months old), but she has been poorly neglected. It's the usual story: she was bought at a local market for 3,000 baht, but after a month or so, the owner's son lost interest in her, and she has basically been chained up and forgotten. When I found her, she was literally starving to death on the end of a chain, and probably would not have survived another month. I am now feeding her every day and despite still looking emaciated she has improved considerably and is now able to walk without wobbling or falling over! The owner has agreed to let me have her, but unfortunately, I cannot take her myself as I already have 5 dogs in Bangkok and my place in Phuket doesn't allow pets. At the moment, Lottie is still chained up in the same place not an ideal situation to be in! I have told the owner, it will take me about 2 weeks to find a new owner, but I want to find someone as soon as possible, as I am concerned for Lottie's health and safety. It's also possible the current owner could change her mind especially if she see's Lottie improving and beginning to look 'cute' again! Lottie is very friendly, loves to be petted, and can still wag her tail excitedly! She is a foreign breed of dog, but because she is so thin, it's hard to tell what kind, however, I believe she might be some kind of 'Pointer': http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pointer_(dog_breed) If you are interested in giving Lottie a home, or know of anyone who would be, please contact me ASAP! Lottie desperately needs to be removed from her current environment and matched with a loving, caring person, or family. Please pass this email on to anyone you think might be interested! If you are interested in adopting Lottie, please PM More on this link.
