Hello all,

Can anyone advise me if I need a work permit if I intend doing business on a short term basis, 6 weeks max to promote concept to business community ?

Or would Business Visa ( only ) do the trick ?

Wow... what an interesting thread!

First time I went to Thailand it was on a 60 day tourist VISA (yes I actually bothered to get one in advance!) It was purely a holiday however I was so taken with the country that I asked one of my new found friends a question about how one would set up a business in Thailand. Technically I should have have reapplied for a Non-Immagrant-B VISA and possibly even a work permit before even asking the question! :D

Better not go into an estate agent and ask about purchasing a guesthouse while I'm on my tourist VISA next time :o
