Who gets their info on world affairs from places other than TV/Radio/Papers?

I spend (too much!) time looking for alternative sources on the internet and slowly have built up a list of sites that I trust to be factual, or which provide news that I can access for further research.

I see the world globally, but from a UK aspect, as I was born there and have spent most of my life in London. I tend therefore to have a greater understanding on UK news than elsewhere.

An excellent website for analysis of the deception in media is provided by

MediaLens. This is UK focussed, but gives superb insight into the way that propaganda is relayed as 'news', so useful no matter where you come from ... particularly if you think that the BBC, at least, provides informed and unbiased coverage. Check their MediaAlerts link on left of homepage.

In answer to your question, I think all are linked ... as you quote "By way Of Deception, Thou Shalt Conquer". We are being manipulated to fear (terrorists, birdflu etc) and any rights we still have are being trashed ... this is happening globally ... there is a connection and anyone who hasn't realised it yet should start to find out.

It's better to trust an individual (usually a journalist you happen to trust) to do your 'seeing' for you. If you find a selection of good reporters (or perhaps, other professions who get close to 'the action') who you can rely on then you can almost be seeing things with your own eyes.

After that..I have no idea what you're asking.

I for example do not because I do a lot of research on articles and reports and find a lot of contradicting things.

It worries me and therefore this not so well described topic, sorry.

I know there are other forums that discuss these things but most of them end up in flame wars and I do not want that here.

So do you think about these events and accept so called 'official' stories if yes why but also if not.

I'm not sure if you know, but man didnt actually land on the moon. It was a hoax - filmed in a movie studio.

well for long time i was concerned about what was going on in the world...sometimes i felt so overwhelmed that i wanted to resolved all the horrible things that were happening...all at once!!!

Then I started my degree in Ecology and...as you can imagine the things I learnt about environmental disasters were just too much...However by the end of my degree I changed my mind of becoming the next Vendetta...and decided to become just a teacher...

I think education is the answer for the next revolution...

There is a chinese proverb that say something like this:

"If you think 1 year ahead plant a seed

if you think 100 years ahead educate your people"

I know also a little story about a man who was walking along the beach. He saw that the tide left hundreds of starfish in the shore, where they were dying because they could not breath outside water. After walking for a while he saw a little girl throwing starfish back to the sea.When he was next to her he asked "what are you doing little girl" .

"I am saving this creatures from dying" she replied.

"but you cannot save them all, they are too many, what difference will it make to save but just a few" he said.

Alex, I think´my response is relevant to the question you pose.

I don´t often dig much deeper anymore, because it´s just SSDD (same sh.it different day) Every single day since I´ve been born (bored)

I don´t see the point much anymore... In a way, yes, I do just sort of resign it to human nature.

The world scenario makes me sad, and not a little depressed.

It´s so easy to be good in this world, and yet we have such a hard time being good.... Frustration!!!!!

So, when I was around 20, 21, I lived on an island in thailand, and didn´t hear about 9/11 until 10/10, and didn´t know about so many things for almost a year and a half, being quite cut off from current affairs.

When I did eventually return to the mainland, and the bangkok post etc... The papers hadn´t changed. Only the locations, the names.

So I guess I sort of feel... What is the fuc.king point?

It all just keeps on keeping on. The best thing I can do, I feel, is just to live my peaceful existence out in a miserable world, and try to be good, share a few laughs.

Change starts from within...? I guess that´s where I´m coming from.

Actually, it was filmed in outback Western Australia!!!!!

Some people asked if Nasa could make a picture of the flags and all the rubbish left behind after US claimed to be there with help of the Hubble space telescope.

Well it's all pretty simple, the war in iraq had to happen because of all the corrupition in the west and the cover up of the Talibans refusal to join in on the world wide conspericy of co operation between our alien over lords and our governments. Sadam and the taliban leaders were about to blow the whole story open so the grand lord Varkslog ordered messers bush & blair to get their forces into the middle east pronto and shut them up. Now this was nessesary so the the alien plan to brain wash our youth with their mind numbing drugs and reprograming through dance music, was not revealed to the general population. The poor youth in france got wind of this cover up and went out on the streets to protest, but the aliens were wise to this as the have spys every were and when the people were out enmass they turned on the "RAGE" ray which triggers an uncontrolable urge to destroy, in the preprogramed drug users and listeners of hip hop and dance music.

Now during this inceadent it became clear that some people seemed to be imune to the rage ray, so the aliens realised that those strorng minded humans would have to be illeminated, so time for opperation "Bird Flu" to be instagated. A geniticly targeted virus aimed at those people who can not be controled by the "RAY".

As for the oil trade, if i told you about that they'd be come after you and you would have to go into hiding forever!!!!!!!!!!!!

TJ it seems you have some knowledge about 'The Truth' but be carefull telling to much about it on a public forum like this. All your internet traffic is filtered through a so called "blue Proxy" (see another thread in internet and computers forum).

I am suffering from flu at this very moment, is it bird flu? I am not sure but I do have been dreaming about me, I was running around like a chicken without a head

and then woke up , my body wet from sweating. I won't take Tamiflu as Rumsfeld is involved in the company that produces it so I do not trust it.
