i opened one last week but i haven't used it for buying an AA ticket yet.

once you get the debit card you can easily register for online banking which i believe you need when paying for AA.

cost was 300 Baht to open account.

maybe people are struggling to pay with there cards because they have made a slight mistake with their bill paying address information ?
