Double Entry Visa - Pp - No Paperwork

Featured Replies

I need to do a Visa run in 2 weeks. I would like to get a double entry visa in Phenom Pen. I do not have a plane ticket, I don't have have bank statements, I only have my passport.

Last year I was able to get a 3 entry Visa in USA for free, now I heard its not free anymore. Does anyone know the new price?

You will not get such a visa in PP and it may be doubtful anywhere if you have a history of tourist visas and are not able to supply minimum requirements for documents. Cost of each tourist visa is 1,000 baht in local currency.

Phnom Penh does not issue Double entries at the moment.

You might get a Single entry, but have to wait 3days, go to Embassy by yourself and supply their requirements, flightticket, confirmed accomodation, thai person guarantee for you, may be bank book or international credit card.

I have had 1 tourist visa in the past.

As far as min requirements, they want a plane ticket and a bank statement? is there anything else?

I don't have any money in any bank

I don't have a ticket because i don't plan to fly anywhere

Advice?

ew... okay

so no point in going to PP, thats good to know

What are my options then?

Try Vientiane, Laos. They are the best locally and will not ask for tickets, paperwork, etc 1000B per. You should be able to get two tourist visas there so 2000B.

That sounds pretty good.

I didn't see any flights going there via AirAsia, so I'm assuming I would have to take a train?

So I'll just go to the Embassy with only my passport, pay them 2,000 to get a double entry and then take a train back and I'm all set.

Are there any other fees? Does Laos charge a fee to enter their country?

Yes, the Laos visa is $30-$35 depending on where you are from. Its an overnight process for the visa so plan on staying at least 1 night there.

I hate dealing with border crossings, always so many scams and people over charging. I'm a US citizen, was reading an online service that takes you there, they tell you its 1500 baht, you pay them, they do it, so I'm assuming their making $15-$20+ off you there.

Should I exchange baht to USD before I go, or is it all the same if I just showed up with Baht only?

from where to where for 1,500 baht? If ur in Bangkok that will be most likely those doing border runs to Cambodia. 1,500 is only $50.

U have to pay for a tourist visa in laos and Cambodia. ( take ur baht an change once u arrive)

Check on traveling to Penang or KL via air asia ( free entry no visa needed) . turn ur passport in the morning, get back next afternoon (same as Laos) so u need 2 nights....but only single entry visa and u will need to show ticket out of Thailand and a conformation of hotel stay ( easy enough to do)
