SantiSuk
Saraburi (Highway 2/Highway 1) area was reportedly a mess a couple of days ago. Your go-to diversion would be highway 304 (Kabinburi to Korat). There have been reports that it is slow going north bound over the hills (it usually is) and I noticed the nothbound traffic traffic was a bit more tailed back behind slow grinding lorries than usual as I came southbound this pm (Tuesday). At least you lnow that you are going to get through though. Sorry I can't help with the best route to get from BKK to Kabinburi though - I went on down to Jomtien. If you need to steer well clear of Northwestern Bangkok and Nakon Nayok then you will certainly be safe going down the BKK-Chonburi motorway and turning left past Chahchongsao and picking up the 304 a little further south from Kabinburi. See the other thread today on this subject - maybe that guy can shed light on routes to avoid getting to the 304 from BKK
Gonsalviz
Off hand, I would say up to Saraburi Hwys 4 - 35 - 9 - 1 - 2 you would be ok. North of there it will be a few days before everything will be sure.
