A New IT Complex To Be Erected

A new IT complex to be erected

PATTAYA: -- The former X-Zyte discotheque building has been well and truly razed to the ground and from the pile of rubble it is being suggested a new IT complex will be constructed.

Naturally, this new setup will well and truly rival Tukcom (South Pattaya Road). Given the amount of parking this new complex will be able to supply, it could well cause quite a few shutters to be pulled down inside Tukcom as businesses relocate to the new setup.

Yes, about the parking, but will the baht bus mafia finally allow a real Third Road route ?

I have read the old Xcite site has bee bought by the Pantip Plaza (Bangkok) people and the site next to Foodland by the Tuk Com crowd so looks like Pattaya will be getting two big new IT malls. The question now is can Pattaya support 3 such malls?

I passed in Chonburi the other day and Tukcom is building a multi story IT mall there currently, guess that they will start in Pattaya when the one in Chonburi is finished. So on the X-zite grounds will be build another IT center.

We all know that those IT centers all are blooming because Thailand is the HUB of pirated software and copies.70% of the shops in those IT centers are selling illegal items somehow.

Now don't forget that Thailand is also the hub of CRACK DOWNS.

So lets hope those giants aren't cutting their fingers with those constructions.

Well, I was in TukCom yesterday and it appears,to me, that they are busy renovating

they have started re-tiling the floors on some of the upper floors and a whole lot of new shops and stalls have appeared.

Sooooo........

70% of the shops in those IT centers are selling illegal items somehow.

A ridiculous and false statement. :annoyed:

A few shops sell CD/DVD copies, yes, but the big majority of them sell legit items :)
