Foosball/ Table Football In Thailand

Hi. I've lived in Isaan for about 10 years and I've always thought it a shame that there aren't any foosball tables around. There is --one-- very bad, foosball table at the mall where I live. I brought a couple of high school kids to play on it. They literally had never seen a foosball table before. And once they played they loved it.

So I'm finally getting off my duff and doing something about it. I'm involved with producing a very high quality foosball table that I hope to sell for a low price. It will be an American style table with ABS plastic men. Think Tornado, only a lot better. Cabinets made with the highest grade plywood, 1 1/2" sidewalls (no mdf in LOS), specially treated rods, foos 'men' with better control than Tornado, high strength Isaan style steel leg frame. And a price tag less than 30,000 THB.

I know there are a few manufacturers here that make a high quality product, but they generally want in excess of 50,000/ table, or a lot more if it has a coin op. My primary mission is to flood Isaan with great tables, getting Thai's interested in the sport. Arcades, snooker halls, and maybe even dedicated foosball venues should be in the cards. And hopefully I'll make a lot of sales to bars. That means us Farang get to play too.

I'm interested any knowledge people have of the game in LOS. I know there are already some tables here... where are they? Does anyone on TV own a table or go to bars that have them?
