Greetings Trend Setters

With the closure of the Perth Thai Consulate, it was time to make

other plans to apply for my Non-Immi O visa.

The consulate in Hobart advertises a 12 hour turn-around plus

postage times.

I arrived in Perth on the Monday and sent the application off to Hobart

with a SAE that afternoon.

I was a happy camper when passport and visa arrived back on the

Thursday.

Really happy with the times and procedure. To be honest, it's easier

to obtain by mail than it was going to the Perth consulate.

Anyway, another option for you to consider.

Just google "Thai consulate in Hobart" for the website.

Regards

Will

Will27, was it a single-entry or multiple-entry non-O visa you got?

What documents did you submit?

Thank you. So you applied for the purpose of visiting family (Thai wife), I presume, and submitted copy of the marriage certificate, etc.

Nice so the multi non imm o doesnt seem to hard?

Would I be right in thinking that my gf not wife could do all the paperwork for me? It seems only 2 documents are needed and they seem quite easy....

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently clamped down on non-O visas to visit friends and it is unlikely that you will be able to get one for that purpose from any Thai consulate.
