Airport Very Busy For The Time Of The Year

Featured Replies

I was at the airport yesterday and the day before yesterday, and I noticed it was considerably busier than last year at the end of october. No regular parking spots available even in the last row. Could this maybe be because of tourists changing their plans, deciding to skip flooded Bangkok and head for Phuket straight away?

Good weather a week before the official high season starts and its a long weekend in Thailand.

Factor in the people leaving the floods in bkk and that would explain the busy airport.

Good beach weather always helps........................

It depends what time you go to the airport.

When I flew in from Singapore at 17:05 hrs, there was nobody in immigration.

Arrive in the morning and it could be pandemonium due to a couple of charter flights arriving close together.

Lots of people in sleepy little Kamala today, a little bit early this year, and more families with kids than usual.:)
