Hi Everyone

My Enter-before Date is 10 Jan 2012.

Does this mean I must enter Bangkok on 9 Jan 2012 latest ?

Appreciate your enlightenment.

Well, that's what it says, BEFORE! So 9 January is a good day to arrive.

You might, just might, be allowed in on your visa on the 10th, but why push it. You might run into a picky Immigration officer who majored in English at university...

I've always gone the day before too just to be safe, but I suspect it means that you can go on the day but not after. The Thai Immigration authorities who originally made these forms probably didn't major in English either.

Before, as others have said, but you don't actually have to go to Bangkok if you don't want to. Any border crossing will do.

You can enter Thailand, not only Bangkok. Any international border crossing will do.

Thank you Mario2008.

Do you mean I can enter Malaysia, Singapore or even London to activate the next 60 days?

No, he didn't mean that.

You must enter Thailand to activate a visa/entry.

You are aware, aren't you, that Bangkok and London aren't countries?
