Hi there guys and gals,

just thought i would introduce myself to your forum and see what you bikers in Thailand get up to and maybe make some friends along the way.(Thai and Westerners)

Well ere goes.

My name is Shaggy,originally from North Yorkshire, England but have been living in Holland for the last 12 years and have been trying to build a farm up with my missus for the past 3 years in Isaan. I have been riding bikes since i was 16,so that'll be 26 years in total.In that time i've had all sorts of bikes (H 100's , CG's , GT's , CB 650's , GS1000 , LS 650 , VF 1100 ,GSF 650 , VN 800 ,GSF 1100 , CR 250) and now a Honda Wave.

So what about you lot?what do you ride? where do you go? are you in a club ? rallies , charity runs ? what happens in LOS ?

I usually just ride around Chiang Mai. its fun going up in the mountains. I might get a dirtbike next to get on some trails

If you look and go back over the pages you will see bikers going on trips thoughout the year and there's lots happening in LOS.

You could always meet up with them and ride along, there are a friendly lot on here and there probably are clubs about maybe near you.

I think you would have to get a motorbike or you will be left behind on a chicken chaser.

Hi Kwasaki,thanks for the tips.Once i get myself sorted i will certainly be looking for something more than the happyshopper.

This is my last bike that i had,i say last because for the last 6 months i have been without a ride. Trying to cuts costs and overheads to get myself to Thailand ASAP
