lamphun Posted January 11, 2004 Posted January 11, 2004 Biggest problem speaking Thai is that Thais who speak a bit of english generally don't listen for Thai when you speak to them. The result is you've always got to repeat yourself. This is especially bad in Bangkok. Chonabot if you're at a call centre you mustbe somewhere in India.
chonabot Posted January 11, 2004 Posted January 11, 2004 Chonabot if you're at a call centre you mustbe somewhere in India. Hmmm believe it or not but IT Headquarters does not equal call centre , but India would be more desireable than Newbury right now , only just mind.....
lamphun Posted January 11, 2004 Posted January 11, 2004 "How may I help you ?" That's what you say isn't it. Or perhaps "Can I intrest you in double glazing ?" Nip out for a curry
chonabot Posted January 11, 2004 Posted January 11, 2004 Christ! He's onto me....even the accent is down pat............(slopes off to sit under a tin roof , chewing on a rat balti )
