Guderian
I'm about to buy a house. It's around 20 years old and, although it looks to me to be in tip-top condition, given the age I think it would be wise to get a qualified property surveyor to check it out. I've asked around, including an estate agent, and I am told by everyone that there aren't any firms of property surveyors in the town, but people always seem to know a friend, or a friend-of-a-friend, who can do it. I'd much prefer to use a proper local company rather than someone's mate, so I wonder if anyone knows of a qualified surveyor or firm of surveyors working in Pattaya? Has anyone had any positive or negative experiences with this? Thanks for any feedback.

Langsuan Man
I have been told that the only legal property survey must be done by the Land Office, of course that was told to me by the Land Office and they may just be protecting their turf (no pun intended ) Edited October 31, 2011 by Langsuan Man
