Fishing This Week?

I'd like to do some fishing this weekend. Does anyone know if Bumsungran (sp?) is accessible and open?

As an alternate, I'd like to try some fly fishing. I have plenty of gear and just need a place. Without getting into any controversy, what spots would you recommend close enough to taxi from Bangkok (Asoke) and "cost effective". That means I can pay what it costs and I'm willing to pay more for a better experience, but I'd prefer to pay less if there are some good, less expensive spots. I do have a work permit if that's figured into the pricing like at BSR. Thanks in advance.
