How Many Visa Exemption Stamps Can I Get In A Year?

Featured Replies

I have two from earlier this year and will be in Thailand in Dec for a few days before leaving and then re-entering by air in early Jan...that would be four within a twelve month period.

Is this OK?

Edit: As per posting request...I have a UK passport...cheers!

There is currently no limit on visa exempt entries.

(There used to be a rule that you could only stay in Thailand for 6 months out of the year, on visa exempt entries.

However that rule was revoked after the change from 30 to 15 day visa exempt stay at land boarders.)

Great....the end of multiple entry non imm o for visiting friends has become a bit of a pain but thanks for clarifying this. smile.gif

From now on I shall simply spend more time visiting other places in SEA. The immigration authorities really haven't thought this through properly....unsurprisingly.
