UPDATE AirAsia Explains Flight Change After Aircraft Door Malfunction in Khon Kaen File picture of the aircraft involved - A320 Neo - HS-CBF Thai AirAsia has issued a statement clarifying an incident involving Flight FD3251 from Khon Kaen to Don Mueang on 20 May, where a malfunction in one of the aircraft’s doors required the airline to reduce the number of passengers on board. The airline reported that while one of the aircraft’s four doors experienced a technical fault, the remaining three doors were fully operational. However, in accordance with safety standards and recommendations from the aircraft manufacturer, the maximum number of passengers allowed on the flight was reduced to 110 to ensure emergency protocols could be followed effectively if needed. The malfunction was in opening the door and posed no risk to flight operations. To comply with these safety guidelines, the airline requested volunteers from among the passengers to take an alternative flight. A total of 27 passengers agreed to switch to the next available service. As a result, Flight FD3251 departed with 107 passengers and arrived safely at Don Mueang Airport, albeit with a delay of approximately one hour. AirAsia expressed appreciation for the cooperation of all passengers involved and reiterated its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety. Tata young started at the top with a million selling album, then worked her way down. She became more unpopular as time went on for her attitude, weaker material and 'charity' work, there is no evidence the establishment hated her at all and her name had nothing to do with her decline. If foreign names were disadvantage why did Jonas Anderson and Christy Gibson never have any problems with thier names? Christy had several awards for services to Thai culture, language and music. But then she had a different attitude to Tata. The whole notion of phua cheewit and rock singers championing the rights and aspirations of the working class is largely not true after the early days with bands like caravan. Luktung has been the genre which gave the working class some pride and identity, reflecting their struggles hopes and problems more than any other genre. If you think multi millionaire phua cheewit performers give a toss about the working class you are the one who has no idea. -

Accident Drunk Driver Causes Fatal Accident in Phuket, Arrested After Hospital Release
Picture courtesy of KhaoSod A tragic road accident in Phuket has claimed the life of a woman after a heavily intoxicated man drove his motorcycle against traffic. The incident occurred at 11:45 p.m. on May 20, on Road 4027 in Pa Khlok, near a petrol station. Police Colonel Yutthaphon Wathaseth, alongside Police Colonel Nikorn Chuthong and a rescue foundation, responded swiftly to the scene. There they found two motorcycles, both with Phuket registrations. The victim, 42-year-old Thanyawat, was severely injured and later succumbed to her injuries at Thalang Hospital. The driver responsible for the accident, identified as 32-year-old Piyanat, was also injured, exhibiting facial bruises and bleeding from the ear. After medical evaluation at Thalang Hospital, a breathalyser test confirmed Piyanat’s blood alcohol level at 130 milligrammes percent, well above the legal limit. Piyanat admitted to consuming alcohol prior to the accident and driving against traffic in an attempt to reach his home near Tha Ruea Market. He lost control of his vehicle, leading to a collision with Thanyawat’s motorcycle, which was travelling lawfully in the correct direction. Although Piyanat's medical condition initially delayed the filing of charges, police arrested him at 6 a.m. on May 21, following his discharge from the hospital. Legal proceedings are now in motion, as authorities work to address the consequences of this preventable tragedy and hold Piyanat accountable for his actions.
