Kanchanaburi > Bkk By Car

Hello All,

Hope the flooding is not bringing everyone down too much.

I have a question for those based around the west side of BKK. Is it possible to get in to BKK from Kanchanaburi at the moment..??

Usual route options would be

1.) Kanchanaburi > Nakhon Pathom > Puttamonton > Pinklao > Sanam Luang (Khao San)

2.) Kanchanaburi > Nakhon Pathom > Puttamonton > Rama 8 > Samsen

3.) Kanchanaburi > Nakhon Pathom > Puttamonton > Bang Bua Thong

Alternative "pain-in-the-arse" type route could be

4.) Kanchanaburi > Suphanburi > Bang Bua Thong

I suppose the main question is how is the situation in and around Nakhon Pathom and Puttamonton? Can cars get through OK on the main road..??

Once I'm actually in BKK I should be OK, I'm just worried about actually getting there. I heard today that all mini-vans from Kan to BKK have stopped.
