I am selling the bike because I am soon going to be leaving Thailand to continue my travels.

The bike is very powerful, having been modified and improved by the previous owner. It has been extremely reliable and has been serviced regularly. Asking price is 90,000 baht ONO.

I bought it here from a mechanic who knows the bike very well, having serviced it for the last owner as well as for me. He is a very good mechanic!!

He is also selling it on my behalf as I am no longer based in Chiang Mai. His name is P Nga and his number is 0833 252196. Whilst his English is not great, it is good enough to be understood. You are also welcome to call me - Tom 0869 503455.

To view the bike, you will need to go to his garage, which is situated on Tonkam 2 Rd, near to the train station. If you go past the train station on your left hand side and follow the tracks, crossing over them at the first opportunity, the road is ahead of you, slightly to the right at approximately a 45 degree angle. His small shop is a few hundred meters on the left, opposite a phone box.

Happy hunting!

1. What year bike is this and how many kilometers on it?

2. Is the subframe a bit bent? The pannier rack looks tilted on the 2nd photo.

3. How's the headlight, is it the 60/55W H4 bulb headlight or a 35/35W non-H4 bulb headlight?

4. What kind of fuel tank does it have? Doesn't look like anything I've seen for XR250 so far. How many liters does it hold?

5. Does it have a kick starter installed, besides the e-start?

6. Does it have an aftermarket exhaust pipe? I like the rather quiet stock muffler.

7. Any particular problems with that bike, or something that should be serviced soon?

I'm flying into Phuket on January 13, 2012, and want to buy a bike like this one (since I also have an XR250 at home). Phuket is a long way from Chiang Mai, but if the bike is good as not sold before that time, I don't mind traveling to pick it up.
