Spaniel
We are planing on buying a new CRV. One of the dealers we went to was strongly advising both the undercoating and paint seal. Obviously one reason was her commision on the sale of these products. My question is are these extras worth the money? We live in Bangkok.
terdsak_12
Cars don't rust in Thailand, the hot weather dryies things quickly so probably not nessassary.
Thetyim
Also the roads are never salted as they are in UK Unless you live near the sea Then I agree with Terdy
jingjingna
I too have heard about the undercoating of the car and all the Thais I speak to (not sales reps or dealers) also recommend it. They say it's the grit/sand that damages the cars...anyone else heard of this? It doesn't cost alot, somewhere between 3-5,000 Baht to get the undercoat done which is guarenteed between 2-5 years.
