Hello

I will be in Chiang mai for the new year and i like to ask if there are places where you can buy a bottle of good wine sit and drink it , or have a wine by glass and some food something like a bistro,not restaurant ,in the city or out.

Yes, it's called Wine Connection. I think there are other branches too, but I think the Nim City near Airport plaza works well, as there are restaurants nearby where you can order a bite to eat, then sit outside and drink a bottle or two with friends.

A place on Nimmanhaemin called "Y Bar." It's inside the Kantary plaza at the front of Soi 12. Right on Nimman...the trees are lit up with blue lights.

Bistro 1 Nim City, Great area to sit outside at a table with a sun brella and great wine and beers and food is excellent.
