EMS was sent to me a week ago and it seems to be stuck in Bangkok, according to the online tracking: DATETIMEScan LocationDescription November 7, 2011 10:41:58TA PHRAYAAccept November 7, 2011 12:50:16TA PHRAYAItems Into Container November 7, 2011 14:33:58TA PHRAYADispatch November 8, 2011 13:58:55Bangkok EMS CentreContainer Received Edited November 14, 2011 by sunny6301
darrendsd
Call 1545 the Thai Post call centre. There is an English option on the menu and the staff speak good English. I know that one of the main sorting centres has been flooded out (Laksi} but have been told that the post is operating as normal.
chiang mai
Twenty four hours to go from Ta Phraya to Bangkok, given all the flooding in between, is really pretty good I would have thought!

But it's now the 14th and the OP still hasn't received it which is probably why he is concerned.
hhfarang
We've received none of our regular national bills (3BB, TrueVisions, TOT, etc.) this month and we usually get them the first week of the month. I suspect that any mail that has to be sorted and cleared through Bangkok (or originates in Bangkok) will be delayed until the flood waters recede. billd766
I sent an EMS package from Klong Lan near Khampaeng Phet to Ayuttha on Friday lunchtime and the package was delivered on Monday after lunch.
