3Bb Account Not Compatible With New Router.

Featured Replies

I wonder if anyone else has had this problem and managed to get it fixed.

My new ADSL router doesn't accept the '+' sign in the username: xxxxxxxx@3bbindy+ and the service centre says they cannot change the username for the package I am on. The package incidentally is no longer available (for new customers). To fix the problem, they claim that I have to move to another package, which will cost a bit more, but gives the same bandwidth, so not too happy about that.

The router is on the latest firmware, but when I enter the username it says its not a valid username, but without the + sign its okay, but of course doesn't match what the username should be.

Anyone got any ideas of what to do, perhaps some method of using an ASCII code or something else?
