Schengen Visa

Featured Replies

hello.

i'm planing to take my thai gf with me to europe.i'm polish but living in norway.right now i'm thinking where is better to apply for visa for her.polish or norwegian embassy, coz most of the time we will stay in norway.and i'm wondering if she with a normal tourist visa can be able to work there.ofcourse i know that it's not permited to do so,but my question is,if she would find an employer tha want's to give her a job is it possible to change all the papers over there without going back to thailand?

also how is it possible to get work permit visa or long term visa for her here in thailand?is it very hard to get it?what do you need for that?will it be easier if we got married?

i know it will take a lot of paper work, time and patience.but i would be very grateful for any help.

thx a lot!!!

As I understand the Schengen Visa, the Norway-Embassy, where you stay most time would be the right application place.

I do not think, that you can change a Schengen Visa in Norway to a Business Visa.

You can maybe apply at the Norway Embassy for a special Work-Business Visa only for Norway, but without the right papers and you unsure if she will work,

get a work, I would try to bring her to Norway with a Schengen Visa and than check everything.

If she has the possibility to get a job, she has to apply again for a different right and new Business Visa in Bangkok again.
