Did my 90 day report & Extension of stay retirement yesterday at the old immigration Bureau, Soi Suan Phlu, Sathorn, because Changwatana is flooded, it was quick and easy, only waited about five minutes before being seen by an officer, for the extension of stay, had to fill out two other forms that I have not seen before, they had the same information on them as the form 7, ???,,, apart from this everything was good, officers were pleasant and helpful, it took about 30 minutes for the extension of stay, the 90 day report only took five minutes, could not belive how quick it was. I did have everything and in order so no problems.

for the benefit of those who have yet to deal with Suan Plu for both the 90 day report and the retirement extension can you please list the documents that you were requested to present to the Suan Plu staff for both of these purposes?

thanks

the documents are the same as what are needed at Chaengwattana, same staff!!

but, but, but...I've never been to Chaeng-Wattana; I'm a Suphanburi/Ayutthaya evacuee...

can someone at least post a link that has a list of what to expect at Suan Plu/Chaeng-Wattana?...if my docs aren't in order then I shall haveta return home to Suphan and I am old, weak and sick...etc.:(

There are some staff from Ayuthaya there, as you get there go to the far door on the right when looking at the building, they were still there on Monday. And the Ayuthaya office has also opened, a post here has confirmed this.

For 90 days I would take the application form, copy of photo page from passport, visa page and last extension as well as copy of Arrival Card, maybe proof of address.

Extension based on Retirement would be - Copies of passport (photo page, visa page and extension page), Application form plus photos, Arrival card, proof of funds (letter from Embassy or bank) plus bank books, proof of address.

thanks a lot for your help...on the income declaration letter from the US Embassy there is a part where one's place of residence can also be declared and useta be acceptable for obtaining a driving license; would this do for the immigration requirement?

yeah...I heard about a temporary immigration office being open in Ayutthaya but getting there from Suphanburi is not yet possible...the highway between Bang Pla Ma in Suphan and Ayutthaya is not yet open...if anyone knows differently please advise...

thanks again :)

I did my (first) retirement extension at Suan Phlu yesterday, and they weren't interested in any proof of address. I did have it with me in case it was asked for, though.
