December In Thailand

Featured Replies

Myself and my husband are in Koh Samui at the moment, we have been here for a month, we are staying in Chaweng in a thai guest house and it is a good price, very central and most of all very clean. We have to be out by 3rd December, does anyone know of any nice clean accommodation in Samui for the month of December. Also we would like to try Koh Chang, is it a good place to be in December, or would anyone recommend a good place for December near a beach, in cheap good clean accommodation.

With Best regards,

Mandy

Rattana Guest House. It's directly behind the Siam Comercial Bank. Three story complex. They have rooms, fan or air, and a few bungalos. I lived there for three years but haven't been back to Samui in five years. They were quiet, clean and cheap then. The owner runs the little store on the dirt road entrance to the beach front motel, directly accross from the road from Big C. Don't have phone number anymore. Better do it quick, December fills up fast if not already booked.

Have you been to koh Chang

Thanks for the answer, have you been to Koh Chang, or Rayong, are they worth a visit

I was in Koh Chang once about six years ago exploring opening a restaurant/bar. There wasn't much there then but if you're looking for quiet that it was. Not any nightlife like Samui, but that was six years ago and things change fast, especially if somebody thinks that they can make a fast buck.
