Visa Service Offering Non Immigrant B

Recommended Posts

It does not work that way. If you are interested in hiring the services of that law firm, send them an email to ask for details and they will tell you how it works, all legal and above board, I'm sure. The non-B visa is for the purpose of travelling to Thailand, usually on behalf of an employer outside Thailand, to do business in Thailand or explore business opportunities, and you will be made to sign a visa application form stating that purpose. Therefore, if this is not your real purpose, ie if you do not plan to travel with the visa to Thailand to do business there, this will be the only irregularity I can think of and it is of course never a good idea to give false information on a visa application form. You may want to consider other possibilities, like studying Thai or something else.

It is absolutely illegal to send passport out while you remain in the kingdom.

there is a possibility that the embassy would reject your application if they find out arrival stamp but not the departure stamp of Thailand.

Second problem could be the TM card in your passport which shows previous date of arrival in the kingdom.

just shared my thoughts hope you will make the right decision.

"It is absolutely illegal to send passport out while you remain in the kingdom."

Not quite correct with this statement.

Agree, it is "illegal" to do so to obtain a Thai visa in another country while the holder stays in Thailand.

But it is not illegal to send your passport out to, for example, to obtain a visa to a country that does not have representation in Thailand.

According to the OP, the advertisement says that "a Non Immigrant Visa B can be acquired for s UK national in Thailand via Hull". If a visa were indeed obtained in this manner, the Thai border checkpoint would not accept it as a valid visa and give only a visa-exempt entry stamp. This is known to have happened, based on a member's post in this forum.

Anybody using this visa service will most probably

  1. be given a completed application form and an envelope with an address in the UK on it
  2. be told to sign the application form, travel to a place ouside Thailand, send the passport, application forms and passport photos with that envelope to the UK with an addressed return envelope, then wait for the passport to come back and return with it to Thailand.
