The Andam club but it is not in Ranong you actually have to go to Burma / Mayanmar or to a small island off the coast. You do though leave from just outside Ranong and the pier even has its own immigration office.

Can you give me more information of the logistics of the move

From centre of Ranong its about a 10 maybe 15 min ride by taxi (car/motor bike) to Andaman Club.

It should suffice to say Andaman Club to the driver.

Its a few clicks northwards from Ranong centre. Many of the locals also refer to the area as Pak Naam.

On the Thai side the A Club is just a kind of reception area, a building with hotel office and immigration office and little more.

You buy ticket for the boat there, book hotel room if you fancy.

The boat goes frequently from there over to the island (in Burma) where the hotel proper is located.

You can also book room when you arrive, the hotel has people on the pier.

I am sure that Andaman Club has transport from Ranong centre to the pier/building on the Thai side, but I don't know from where.

In the main street in Ranong centre there is a "shop" called Pon's Place (everybody know that place), its close to the main market.

Pon's place arranges hotel, transport and tickets to/from anywhere you can think of.

Pon's Place is a travel agency/cafe-bar/motorbike rental place.

Also there is a local "bus" to Bansalem. They will also drop you at the club pier. If you are booking why not inquire about transport?
