Sunee & I made a Future Park run today, shopping, for her, and me just saying a "howdy" to the various folks I've not seen for a bit over a month.

Road west on 305 not too bad altho it does turn into a 2-laner from Klong 4 on in, with parts of the road wet as the level is the same as Klong Ransit. Not a problem, tho, for our van and did see quite a few sedans moving. Lots of cars, pickups, trucks, buses parked along both sides of 305, there on the normal inbound lanes that are now 2-way. While the trip normally takes 40-45 minutes from our place at Klong 10, it took one hour this morning, not too bad I figure. 45 minutes on the return home.

The Lotus at Klong 3 is a mess.

The right turn to hit the newly made raised road to FP is a bit quirky but there's guys there directing traffic. After crossing over Klong 1, stay a bit to the left, go down as if you were going to take the up ramp to the Tollway, but do a sharp right turn against the on coming traffic. That leads to the new FP access road on the back side, west side, of Country Place, and north alongside the back of FP to the parking.

Didn't take a look at HomePro and neglected to ask if it's open.

At the Rangsit intersection, "klong 0, can get up on the Don Muang Tollway. Other cars were taking the right lane which leads either north or further west towards Pathum Thann, but didn't see exactly where they were going.

Re FP, the downstairs parking area had flooded to about 12 inches, all cleared now but dusty. Inside the mall "B" level, same 12 inches, and mostly cleaned up.

The folks down at the copy shop at the north end are back in business, they'd moved their baht 20-30 million worth of gear upstairs so didn't lose anything. Junk Shop open, same with DISO. Just made a quickie run through TOPS, fully stocked. None of the three photo shops I know of are open, including the one on the top floor. SKYLARK closed as is the KFC and MOSS Burger, no loss for the latter. Upstairs all the banks working, including AEON, handy as I wanted to use the ATM card I'd got last year per a friend's recommendation, no baht 150 Thai bank charge for a U.S. withdrawal. Top floor, the computer guru is there at his CNEX shop and his wife and son were restocking, getting ready to open.

Then we went to the Sizzler for lunch and I restocked the freezer here with 4-5 meals out of the full rack of ribs.

Tomorrow, just Klong 6 post office, DOHome, and Lotus Klong 7.
