January 11, 200422 yr i'm currentley taking tablets prescribed for backache.these contain codeine. could there be a problem bringing these to thailand. would it be ok if i have prescription.
January 11, 200422 yr Leave them in the bottle / package with the pharmacist's info on it, and get a letter from your doctor and carry it with your papers.
January 12, 200422 yr Thats what I had to do for a while when coming to LOS. I used to declare them and mostly the officers wern't interested. One trip the guy wanted to see my letter from the GP, it was in a sealed envelope and when I went to open it he lost interest and sent me through. I have since had an operation to sort things out but last trip I didn't bother bringing any stuff with me just went to the local Hospital and got what I needed from there.
January 12, 200422 yr Hi garbol Dr's advice is spot on. I occasionally suffer from migraines, plus being a female, always travel with plenty of prescription medication and have never had any problems.

Apart from this, most of the medication is just precautionary - women tend to be prone to certain things, such as cystitis which is not pleasant and if not dealt with can lead to a kidney infection.
