Hello there,

I would appreciate it if someone could confirm or deny the existence of a bar called Coco Red or Red Coco in Chiang Mai.

I believe if it exists one can play pool on the second floor either 3 or 6 tables.

Thanks

Is there anyone out there who can shed some light on this?

I undertook a search for this bar in November last year but as nobody I asked had ever heard of it I assumed I have made a mistake in the name (knowing deep down that I hadn't). Since I stumbled across this message my interest has been reawakened. I have started asking around at places near the night bazaar but to no avail.

Thanks

If there is/ever was a bar of that name it has left no Google footprint. I cant ever remember seeing such a bar but as Dolly says, lots bars come and go. If it was in one of the bar-beer centres, you could even have gone in and not realised the name.

If you read the post, his interest is this; "I believe if it exists one can play pool on the second floor either 3 or 6 tables"

Could be right, and also the "red" I see many Johnny walker signs lit up saying "red" Now when you first look you could believe the bar was called red.

I think the coco red never existed, and its more likely to be a Johnny walker gogo bar....and no doubt upstairs you can play with..............you get my drift.

Maybe you mean the Co Co Ok bar in Huay Kaew Road It is located about 500 meters west of the Rincome intersection, on the right hand side.

It is next door to the student"s market, more or less opposite "The Pub"

I have never been inside, so I can't comment on pool tables..
