Any Fellow Colitis, Crohns, Or Ibs Suffers In Los

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am considerable distress with a horrible bowel problem. The thai doctors I have seen so far have left me less than impressed (I have read asians do not get this so I understand there ignorance). I am hoping I can get some advice here:

1. Name/number/hospital of a gastroenterologist familiar with this farang disease

2. Where I can purchase a reusable 1.5 liter enema bag

3. Does anyone know where to purchase "slippery elm bark" or lobelia or witchhazel preferably in raw unprocessed form

Any information would be a Godsend, Thanks

The major hospitals in Bangkok all have GI centres. Here's the website for Bangkok Hospital's:

http://www.bangkokhospital.com/english/gi/gi.asp

You can e-mail them and ask about a specialist in Crohn's/IBS.
