Underground Lottery operator arrested at Easy Pattaya Police Checkpoint

PATTAYA: -- An underground Lottery operator was stopped at a Police Checkpoint in East Pattaya on Thursday. Traffic Police Officers stopped a motorbike being driven by Khun Nalumon aged 38 who appeared nervous. A search of a shoulder bag revealed a book full of numbers and cash totaling 69,560 Baht was found. Further investigations revealed the suspect was running a 200,000 Baht illegal lottery and she revealed she was the niece of a prominent Pro-Thaksin Red Shirt leader in Pattaya in an attempt to intimidate Police.
