Work Permit Extension Of Stay To Retirement Visa

Recommended Posts

I have been working in Thailand the last few years but am in the process of selling my business. Originally had a B visa and then subsequent extension of stays. Can I still use this visa/extension of stay to apply for retirement once I leave the business or do I need a new visa.

Thanks

You do not need a new visa, but on the last day of yur employement must visit immirgation and apply for an extension of stay based on retirement, so if you need to season money be sure to have seasoned it 3 months in advance.

(First go to the labour office to cancel your work permit and then visit immigration).

Make sure that you get a receipt, Tor Tor 10, from the labor office when you cancel your work permit.
