I know many people in a similar position to myself ..... unable to consume alcoholic drinks due to a medical condition.

A restaurant should be selling food, if it makes it's money from alcohol, it's a bar.

Actually, restaurant customers who don't drink alcohol should be grateful to those who do. It's always been the case that restaurants that offer a serious selection of alcholic beverages earn a disproportionae share of their income from drinks. It helps keep the food costs low. This goes especially for high end restaurants. As for a joint like ours, it's the malted milk shakes that keep us afloat.

Thats really very much like us,,,,,,,, its the root beer FLOATS that keep us from shaking.
