How was it in the 70's in gogo's? Any pics of women in that time?

You'll find some of the old Grand Prix here: http://www.bangkokeyes.com/2008nov01.html

This is a great site, with lots of interesting history. I also like the entry on Klong Tuey and other old entertainment areas. The only flaw with the old Grand Prix story is the mention of a visiting player from 'Liverpool United'!

Rick Menard was in the right place at the right time. What a business man. Just wonder why he no longer lives in LOS?

Rick moved back to Las Vegas in 1991 to oversee the education of his two daughters. Sadly, he died there of cancer in 2009, according to close friends. RIP

No go gos in the 70s you walked into the bar walked around and picked a girl out who was setting along the wall, or you set down and they came over to your table a bit like the beer bars. No stages for danceing

Just checked the photos of the gogo girls from the Grand Prix I would like to know the years of the photo. Many of the customers sure didn't look like GIs the hair too long. Like I said 2 R and Rs in Bangkok 1970 and 71 and sure donot remember any girls dancing on stages. Maybe just the bars I went into.
