November 24, 200520 yr For those interested in listening to live air traffic control, from international airspace, the following website may be of interest. http://www.liveatc.net/feedindex.php?type=international No BKK unfortunately. (United Airlines offers ATC on Ch. 9 on their audio entertainment system, so people flying BKK-NRT-BKK on UA 882/881 do have the opportunity to hear Thai ATC, as well as Vietnam ATC.)
November 24, 200520 yr Click on LiveATC.net top of the page, it takes you to choices to listen to. I've tried a couple but not getting any sound.
November 25, 200520 yr Works for me,thanks a great find, listenting to Dublin right now <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There is another side to this hobby and it is called "ACARS" the digital side of it. I have a very old web site I have not maintained for a few years now but you will get the idea. If there is enough interest in this hobby I will set the real live data back into it and revamp the site. See; http://www.jsat.tv/acars/ Many of the links are broken as I just roughly put it back together. You will see logs of the first Y2K flights in BKK and lots more. We were lucky enough to also visit Thai Airways and be taken though the whole ACARS ops from their side and get some printouts from the 747's onboard ACARS units.
