Xmas Charity Work

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm looking to do some charity/volunteer work on xmas day this year but don't know where to look.

I wouldn't pay to volunteer and i'm a 35 year old british guy living in bangkok with basic thai language skills.

If somebody could post some relevant links or contact details it would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Why just for Christmas? If you're not Christian, you should be willing to volunteer any day, if you are a Christian, you should be willing to volunteer every day.

Boxing Day, Chiang Mai Toy Ride. To Mae Mer Orphanage. Bring a toy, some tinned food and some seeds. Make a few kids smile.

Hi

Thanks for the link its much appreciated.

Why only Christmas? Because after the floods I'm working around the clock to keep my business going and it is the only time that I can afford to designate to any worthy cause. I don't see that being Christian/Muslim or Buddhist or not has anything to do with when to volunteer. I'm sure the kids don't mind.

Regards and Merry Christmas!
