In/Out of Thailand, I don't think the immigration will ask you anything, being the father of the children.

I had most of that on the permission letter, but a copy of the passport bio page and drivers' license -signed- would've been missing.

It's a much appreciated practice, after thinking it over. It's the 'not-knowing' and the resultant hihups in the holiday that suck.
