Does Stamp On Arrival Have Any Factor When Applying For A Tr?

Featured Replies

Looking to get a multiple entry one, 30 days won't have expired since I've left Thailand, will this play any factor?

No previous Thai visa's in passport

I'm Irish, if I just get a normal TR can you extend it for 30 days without leaving Thailand as it mentions here

I'll be applying in Vientiane

If you have a tourist visa, you can extend it with 30 days.

A visa exempt entry cannot be extended.

Edit:

A tourist visa is exteded at an immirgaiton office, for 1,900 baht. You will also need a passport photo.

There is no issue obtaining after a 30 day entry and that ends the moment you depart so a new entry will not having anything to do with it. Do not believe there will be a problem getting two entry at Vientiane with your passport. Yes a 60 day entry can be extended 30 days but be aware that all entries must have been made by the date stamped on visa.

The visa would be valid for 90 days (to use it) but your permitted stay would be 60 days when you do enter and you could extend 30 days for the price mentioned.
