Reggae Festival In Chiang Mai This Month?

It moved to chiang mai from pai last year. I can find nothing on the web about this year's festival. Does anyone know if it is even taking place? Last year i believe it was at huay dteung tao.

Did you try google? Searching for "pai reggae festival", the top result returned is http://www.paifestival.com/ That site in turn has all the information for the 2012 festival.

Ah thanks mate! I did go there before, but i think they've only just put up details, all i could see on that site before was the 2011 one. I did try google even only a couple of days ago. Anyway, great news, and thanks.

Oh, i now see it's back in pai. Wonder why?

I think they lost massive money last year, they had a set up for a huge crowd that didn't show. There were some good acts though, the band, "Easy star allstars" were amazing.

In case you didn't hear, there was a change in venue. Its now at Huay Dee Mee lake in Pai. They are expecting a crowd bigger than what the previous venue could handle.

Sounds like a great way to spend a long weekend to me!
