mjnaus Posted January 1, 2012 Share Posted January 1, 2012 Difficult to say for sure as the situation changes all the time. This morning, I drove from Tung Song (Nakhorn si Tamarat) to Hat Yai without flooded roads (we did have enormous amounts of rain coming down though) and it seems the storm causing most of the rains is moving up north. Your best bet is listening on local radio broadcasts to get an idea of the current situation. Of course, you'll need to be able to speak (Southern) Thai or have your partner check for you. That's exactly what we did and we heard that the road to Bangkok is flooded as from Phatthalung, causing my wife worrying as we're bringing our little boy with us. TomTao Posted January 2, 2012 Share Posted January 2, 2012 My wife's granddaughter cannot get home because of flooding at Lang Suan, the river coming down from Phato has broken its banks again at Lang Suan, could take a few days to clear if this rain doesn't ease.
