What Is A Cub-Bar Snake?

Featured Replies

We have had several of these at our house building site, they are small about 2 foot long but apparently grow 'big', have a small head and many bands across the body all the way down it.

The staff call it a cob-bar as apposed to Colb-blar for a cobra. All the other snakes he have had, well we only see them when they are making a hasty retreat, these ones, proactively come very close to us and just don't retreat, they are extreamy confident.

Some of the staff like snakes, seem to know a little bit, and get very angry when people chase the cobras. The thing I find concerning is they say these ones are very venomous and they hate them.

I don't have a pic sorry, I am just trying to find out what we are dealing with here.

Many bands across their body? Where is this?

Google snakes of Thailand

Important things to know when reporting snake sightings. Location, color of bands if any, how far apart bands are etc etc.

Sounds like they are willing to pose for a picture. Nobody has a camera phone???
