Sorry trying to find recent information about Thai/ Birma visa run without an organisation is not easy on line. I am driving throught Thailand, and need to do my visa run before the end of Jan. Now we will be passing Ranong/ Birma. I have done this visa run before but a few years ago. We seem to think the conditions have changed. We are planning to take the boat to the resort, stay there a couple of hours ( or maybe even the night) and return for a fresh 90 day stamp. Is that still possible? Or is there an easyier border cross? We are now near Chumpon, and so very close to Birmese border already. Any tips are greatly apreciated. Thank you
