Police arrest suspected Marijuana dealer in Sattahip

SATTAHIP: -- A motorbike taxi driver was arrested by Sattahip Police on Thursday morning, accused of distributing a class 5 drug. Police organized an undercover operation to entrap the target, Khun Pramort aged 56 who sold Marijuana to an undercover officer in exchange for marked bank notes and was subsequently arrested. Khun Pramort was then escorted to his house where a considerable amount of the class 5 drug was seized. In total 51 individual bags and blocks weighing a total of 1.3kgs of Marijuana was seized. During questioning, Khun Pramort revealed he had been in prison before and upon his release he was forced to take out a loan which attracted an interest rate of 20%. To ensure he could make payments on-time he claimed that selling the Marijuana was the only way he could make enough money to do this.
