Thai Party Leaders Attend Reconciliation Lunch Meeting

She has other important issues to deal with, then reconciliation.

If you cannot offer an intelligent comment, why post something that is infantile? Do you feel better?

Your comment reads like someone is envious of the PM's social status.

Your comments and posts read like those of a class-obsessed sycophantic snob.

Thus writes the forum's most prominent ill-informed poster about life outside Bangkok rolleyes.gif .

1/ I rarely VISIT BKK, so claim little knowledge of the area except that which I glean from newspapers and TV. OTOH I have to all the extremities of Thailand (except the far NW) by small motorcycle, mostly alone, having enough Thai to converse with anyone I meet.

2/ "ill-formed" is not an equivalent to "different views to myself"

3/ review your recent posts - are you adding to the topic or sniping at other posters

If the meeting was only for party leaders, was it wrong for Yingluck to even be invited, and was it right for her to then decline the invitation?

I don't think "party leader" was a strict requirement for the meeting; she is simply using it as an excuse for her absence. The aim was to talk about reconciliation to solve the major political problems of the country, but it seems that she has more important things to do.

Funny, that is how some people feel about your posts...

Indeed. However, I do not envy the PM's social status. I come from a more important family, nyah, nyah, nyah.

Do you realize that your comment is illogical? Do you want me to help you out? I'll give you a start. Some people are posting items like oh she's a retard, oh she's got a hair appointment. Is that really appropriate, you know, the sort of things a "grown up" would say? Sure, its typical of 12 year olds, but some of these comments are coming from old people that should know better that it is not polite behaviour to cyber bully and denigrate people in this manner. If they were still 12, perhaps their mummy would give them a time out. I don't think your buddy Ron Paul would approve,. Don't make me tell Ron Paul.

All he ever does is snipe at other posters ... not just his recent posts.

"But don't you think it might do her already bottom-of-the-barrel credibility some good if she actually turned up for such a meeting? She represents the Phua Thai party to many in this country - supporters and opposition alike.

(Yes, yes... We all know who really represents the Phua Thai party. But if he didn't exist we wouldn't need "reconciliation"....)"

Agreed at some point she will have to address the issue of no credibility.

Even a great deal of the people who voted for PT don't believe in her it is her brother they believe in.

If anyone is ever unsure if my above comment was unfair you are surely quick to come along to prove me right. I thank you for that.

It was unfair.....who would be unsure?

Great thanks for all your comments...it's saves time trying to read between the lines of the schools websites. I have a good idea of where to visit and I'm sure just seeing how the kids play at playtime will help me make my mind up. Cheers

Well g'kid can you honestly say that your idol or any of his leeches have ever (repeat ever) engaged in deceit of the Thai electorate?

While your busy with that I'll prepare a list, I'll be back in two weeks because it will take that long to finalize the list. Contributions to the list welcome.

Well I'll engage in one of your tactics. Was it appropriate (fair) for jatuporn, arisman, verra and more to enage in night after night, day after day, rally after rally in telling their mobs that Abhisit was evil, telling blatant lies about him and others, playing again and again doctored tapes?

Glad you agree that all should be accountable under the law.

Yes, I do, Mick. And I say all[/] should be accountable under the law, including an army chief of staff who lied at a press conference in defence of a fake bomb detector that is the subject of a major criminal investigation in the UK. And a Democrat deputy PM who was at the forefront of organising an illegal militia to stir up trouble at a major international conference in Jomtien ? Don't you agree, surely, that this should be about sorting all this nonsense out, rather than just ridding the political scene of one particular faction?

Which part of "all' don't you understand?

I´ve made my opinions about Thaksin´s corruption and mis-management clear (though I resolutely refuse to join in any of the daft rant-fests). Would you be so kind as to flag up your forum criticisms of Dem and army corruption and misdemeanours? A few links to your previous posts will be fine.

You haven't provided any links to your posts criticising Democrat or army corruption yet, Mick.
